{"id":153,"date":"2015-01-08T07:42:39","date_gmt":"2015-01-08T07:42:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.skincarecymru.org\/?page_id=153"},"modified":"2023-07-20T12:30:27","modified_gmt":"2023-07-20T12:30:27","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/skincarecymru.wales\/?page_id=153","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Established as a UK registered charity in 2007, Skin Care Cymru is run by a group of people who are passionate about improving the care for people living with skin conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our executive committee is comprised of patients with skin conditions, relatives of patients, healthcare professionals, and academic researchers, all of whom voluntarily give their time to the charity and work together as a team to raise awareness of important issues in dermatology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">We raise funds by hosting a range of fundraising activities, attract corporate sponsorship, and receive donations in order to support the needs of people in Wales with skin conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Recent fundraising activities have secured funds to establish a unique bursary and small grant award.
