{"id":193,"date":"2015-01-12T13:32:54","date_gmt":"2015-01-12T13:32:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.skincarecymru.org\/?page_id=193"},"modified":"2022-09-19T14:00:34","modified_gmt":"2022-09-19T14:00:34","slug":"skin-care-cymru-small-grant-applications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/skincarecymru.wales\/?page_id=193","title":{"rendered":"Skin Care Cymru Small Grant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A\u00a0Skin Care Cymru Small Grant is available to anybody wishing to carry out Welsh based research into skin disease.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Small Grant details<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Only one project to be submitted per person per grant round<\/li><li>The project should be a small or pilot project<\/li><li>The maximum amount of funds available for each award is \u00a31,000.<\/li><li>Not more than 50% of the small grant to be used on buying equipment<\/li><li>If part of another project, the small grant is to make-up at least 30% of the total funding<\/li><li>Applicants may be required to refund the grant if the project\/research objectives are not fully achieved<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Applying for a Skin Care Cymru Small Grant&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Assessment of the grants will take into account requests which are of a more immediate clinical relevance.<\/li><li>Applicants are expected to demonstrate the value of the project to dermatology in Wales.<\/li><li>No \u2018top-ups\u2019 or extensions are available for any reason<\/li><li>&nbsp;The maximum duration of the award is 1 year&nbsp;(although this may be extended by negotiation)<\/li><li>Successful awards must be activated within 12 months<\/li><li>Awards are claimed by authorised finance departments submitting a single invoice for the full amount<\/li><li>A scientific and a simple lay report to be submitted upon completion of the work\/project<\/li><li>Skincare Cymru\u2019s support to be mentioned in any relevant papers or presentations and copies to be forwarded to Skincare Cymru<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Award A\u00a0Skin Care Cymru Small Grant is available to anybody wishing to carry out Welsh based research into skin disease.
